There is a completely revamped webpage describing the complete status
of our current legislation pending at the federal level of the United
States government. It can be found here:
-
http://lymediseaseassociation.org/HR741/HR741.html#Federal%20Bill.
-
Everything is there to make it easy for you to keep informed and to
contact your congressmen, including sample letters and phone blurbs.
If you cannot get to a link, hold "CTRL key" and then "click" on it.
We prefer the actions be taken by Wednesday, Oct. 3rd 2007.
If this is not possible, take the action ASAP.
HISTORY
In January, H741 was introduced into the US House. In June,
the same
bill was introduced into the US Senate as S1708. Currently, HR 741
has 89 co-sponsors. S 1708 has 7. This summer, we were in discussions
with many offices in DC. We now have a chance for hearings on the
bills. YOU need to take action to ensure that happens.
